SpillBoss Granular Absorbents
There are a few points which apply to all our SpillBoss granular absorbents.
How to use:
In the event of a spill, (provided it is safe to do so) you would normally try and stop the spill at the source, barricade any drains nearby and then contain the spill to keep it from spreading. Granular absorbents are very useful in this regard as they can be spread around the perimeter of the spill acting as a barrier to stop the spill spreading. Once the spill has been contained you can then concentrate on cleaning up, which may involve placing more absorbent on the spill and then sweeping in from the outside edge, or using other products, such as absorbent pads and pillows to soak up the remainder of the spill. Obviously, every spill is different, and it is important to use common sense when responding.
Where to use:
Granular absorbents work on both smooth and rough surfaces and some types also work on water, so they are perfect for most situations. Depending on the size, type and location of the spill, different granular absorbents will work better, and we will go over this shortly.
Disposal:
Disposal of any absorbent should be in accordance with local regulations for the liquid absorbed.
All Argyle Commercial's SpillBoss granular absorbents are fast wicking and non-leaching, so once you begin the clean-up, you can have peace of mind, knowing the spill will be absorbed quickly and contained properly, meaning you can get back to the important stuff your work.
