Fire resistant containment for drum and IBC storageMetal bunds must be used where bunding has been chosen for the storage of flammable liquids: AS1940 states that spill containment bunds used for the storage of flammable liquids must be fire-resistant. As polyethylene will combust, polyethylene bunds are not suitable for the storage of flammable liquids. These bunds are made of a heavy-duty, fire-resistant steel construction with a steel platform, a 2-Pak polyurethane or galvanised finish, and an integrated drain bung. Steel bunds are available in 2 and 4 drum, and single and dual IBC models; we are also able to manufacture custom bunds to meet your specific requirements.
